WE ARE A TRAINING SCHOOL WITHIN THE VOLUNTEER TRAINING PLAN OF THE GENERALITAT DE CATALUNYA

AFANOC VOLUNTEER INITIATION WORKSHOP

This is an initial training workshop, aimed at all those people who want to be part of the AFANOC volunteer team, through which they can get to know the organization, the different types of volunteering that can be done and what functions and activities do volunteers perform. After the workshop, a personal interview is held, arranging the day and time with the corresponding volunteer coordinator.
Volunteering is an act of responsibility and solidarity. To carry out a quality voluntary action requires prior preparation and constant work of reflection. The functions to be covered and the limits and responsibilities must be clearly framed.

It is important, therefore, to work well on the characteristics of a volunteer with the specificities of the hospital and home environment, and the reality of those who suffer from long-term illnesses and who spend long stays in the hospital and at home.
